Vraiment chapeau a Mr Ezratty.

What can you do with your mobile?

Well... voice calls, ok we know. But also download funny ring tones, applications, games, etc. Expensive? Well, not always. Like for PC a bunch of content is now available for free. You have to be a bit techy and be ready to learn a few things but indeed, there is a lot for free out there. If you're interested, I can share a lot on this blog.

For now, if you want free interesting applications, just go there: www.getjar.com

L'ete approche... Summer is coming...

Evenings are getting longer and I love this one as it's a perfect illustration of the a long summer end of day. Actually composed by a French composer, Napoleon Coste. Its title is: Les soirees d'Auteuil (evenings in Auteuil). For those of you who don't know, Auteuil is a place in Paris where there is a famous horse race tracks, Roland Garros (tennis courts where they host the French grand slam) and the Bois de Boulogne, a park with two lakes. So imagine yourself back in the 19th century, probably a charming tete-a-tete with a lovely lady...

Global warming

I just watched an Inconvenient Truth (yes, ok, late in the game...). Indeed, a very good documentary that I strongly recommend. A very useful evangelization tool! But the issue with global warming is that it has become a moral crusade when it's actually a scientific and engineering problem. The "inconvenient truth" is that if we don't solve the problem with engineering and technical solutions, we're irreversibly lost... It is now almost certain that our kids and grandkids will never enjoy earth as we did. They will survive with machines and artificial environments until critical resources will be missing or become unaccessible. Yes, they will ask us why we haven't done anything.

An inconvenient truth...

No need to ask what happens in a decade from now... the picture was cut as there was just a mere string running... Although global warming can have a totally different impact which may bring us backward on the string ;-)

A tango or I should say a Milonga, that is an Argentinian tango. A very nice music composed by Jorge Cardoso. Not really for dancing, and quite haunting melody...

Souvenirs d'enfance...

This study is not mine, but Carcassi's; a well known composer in the classigal guitar world. If I had to give it a name, I'd name it after the place I grew up in Paris, a street named Avenue de la Porte d'Asnieres. Probably memories for my folks and sister too.

For those who don't speak French, it's not really interesting; it's all about France going on strike and more labor laws that go beyond imagination ...
